Science and Slime

We ended the first three days of school on a fun note.  We had "chemistry" or science time.  The students LOVED this time!  We made slime and each student got some to take home.  It was messy and loud, but totally worth it.  The students learned that this slime is actually a polymer.  They learned what makes it a polymer and some examples of other polymers.  Ask them all about it!

The First Day of School and We're HAPPY!

We had a wonderful start to our school year! What a blessing to get to be a part of 35 children's lives. We try to remember that each child is someone's entire world!  We spent the first  day of school getting to know each other. We danced, read, and laughed... a lot! Our state superintendent, Dr. Tommy Bice, encouraged and challenged teachers to get to know their students and make the first few days of school fun.  We really tried to do that and we hope that your child came home happy about school.

Welcome To Our Classroom!

We are so excited to have your child in our 2014-2015 Crazy, Collaborative, and Cool classroom.  We are located just outside the library in the room that was formerly our faculty meeting room.  We have a huge space, which is awesome, but it has been a lot of work to prepare. We aren't quite finished, but as you can tell from the photos...we've come a long way! Welcome to our room!
